My Time to Wake Up is a simple clothing company with a simple and bold statement. Time To Wake Up. Wake up and try to help the world. The black organic cotton shirt fits nicely but it’s not as soft as other brands I usually wear. The shirts are Anvil Brand Organic Cotton, a very large shirt manufacturer, but maybe in the future My Time to Wake Up will have their own line.

They do have bamboo shirts available now and we’ll be reviewing them shortly. The logo is simple and makes sense. The back neck area sports the IUTU which stands for It’s Up To Us. Another good slogan that I’m proud to wear.
I’ll be reviewing the bamboo shirts in the future, so stay tuned and check My Time To Wake Up!

It’s not even Christmas and I got coal. Well, sort of. The shirt is made of olive green/brown organic cotton with a black silk-screened coal plant across the chest. The design is simple and not offensive. The Coal Plant shirt not only fits both width and length like a medium but it is an attention grabber. People will wonder what it means and that’s what I want.

Artifex gives back too. The Artifex brothers donate a portion of their profits to environmental causes. They also give $3 from each of their popular Windmill shirt to North Dakota based Native Energy.
I really like the shirt and I am proud to be part of the Artifex club. Stay tuned for more Artifex shirts in the future!

A few weeks ago it was really beautiful outside. The trees were green, the pollen count was high and the sun was shining brightly and I decided to go for a bike ride. I threw on my bike riding shorts, grabbed my Timbuk2 Metro bag filled with the essentials and decided to test out the Truly Organic Apparel shirt.
This t-shirt is unique because it is not only made from organic cotton but it uses natural dyes to color the shirt which means no chemicals are used in the process of making the fair trade clothing.

Each one of the Herbal T’s is hand dyed resulting in a unique color and texture. The style is not really something I would wear out normally, but for biking it was perfect. The shirt resisted my sweat and did absorb some moisture, but it wasn’t too clingy when I took the shirt off. It fits like a medium length wise, but is a little too wide for me (compared to American Apparel sizing).
The olive green color is actually more of a brown olive mixture, but it’s not bad. It totally clashes with my Nau shorts, but I’m not trying to impress anyone.
Truly Organic offers both lines for men and women besides t-shirts. They have work clothes and play clothes so check them out. Please just follow the instructions when you wash the clothes, it’s VERY important!

Green organic cotton t-shirt with the standout font that says SOS. The O is the Earth that sets this shirt apart with its juxtaposition. The medium shirt fits more like a medium in terms of width, but its length is a little short compared to American Apparel. The screening is dark and keeps its texture after washing.
If you are looking to plug what you believe in, this shirt is straightforward enough to do so.
Ban T-Shirts has a few newer shirts out now with more gutsy messages, but this simple message gets the point across.
I got a few looks wearing the shirt and that is what I wanted. Great Success!

Bamboo you say, without Pandas attacking me in masses mistaking me for food! This is true, shirts made of bamboo with amazing qualities.
I have 100% Bamboo Fine Jersey Long Sleeve and Short Sleeve shirts. First thing I noticed was how unbelievably soft the shirts are. It is really just short of silk or the finest thread count linens. I usually wear a white cotton tee under every shirt I wear, even other t-shirts. That is sure to change now that I’ve tried these. The shirts are extremely comfortable, they look nice, and surprisingly they wash extremely well. No pills or shrinkage. They came out of the wash the way they went in.

My favorite part of the shirts has to be the natural anti-microbial properties of the fabric. This allows you to wear the shirts for extended periods of time without having to worry about odor. The shirts also help regulate body heat by being naturally cooling in heat and warm in the cold.
I have actually learned a ton about bamboo as a resource from trying out these shirts. It’s actually quite astonishing, check out Bamboosa’s site for more info regarding this; it’s kind of mind boggling the sort of facts they have. Needless to say, the shirts are great and I’ll definitely be picking up some more.

These one of a kind, organic shirts are wonderful. The fit is perfect; the medium fits like a medium should. The shirt is soft and not itchy and it’s made from organic cotton.
Now, let’s focus on the idea that makes We Add Up special. We Add Up is an idea that allows individuals to have a voice to make a change. You can choose from preset designs on the back of the shirt or all of the designs if you dare. These designs are not just graphics, they are somethings as the founders, Judy and Jill put it. Do you recycle, do you shower together, did you go organic, do you carpool? The list goes on. Each something is your change and the front of the shirt has a unique number that only you have.
See me, I’m not only wearing my We Add Up shirt, but I’m rocking my Nau shorts as well.
The concept is unique and the shirts fit well. I love it and I think everyone needs to join. Check out weaddup.com for more info on fundraising or to get counted in!
Click this link, both Leafygreen.info and We Add Up will benefit!

Eco-fashion is becoming huge. I am glad I am part of the solution while it grows. Greentee clothing from Florida is known for organic cotton and bamboo shirts that have artsy designs. Not preachy, eco-chic designs, but beautiful pieces of art.
I do not like white T-shirts but I couldn’t resist a shirt made from organic cotton and bamboo. The design of a Scissor Bird is beautiful and water-based ink keeps the design perfectly in place.
The shirt is soft and comfortable. The fit of the shirt is similar to American Apparel, which means it fits like it should.
By purchasing a shirt from green tees, you are supporting a great company and of course the environment.
Feel free to check out green tee’s website, blog or online store.

Although it was not quite what I was expecting, I do love new t-shirts. I have designed some green shirts for my website which are sold through CafePress, however, I was glad to see another company selling clever and well designed shirts.
Ban T-Shirts sells shirts designed for different topics like politics, organics, peace and Native Americans. The shirt I am reviewing is the Think Green shirt. At first look you see a deep dark green screen printing of a half tree half brain at a nice size across the chest. Ban T-Shirts uses American Apparel brand for this shirt which means high quality and made in the US of A in sweatshop free factories.
I never wear new clothing without washing it, so I waited until I needed to do my laundry and am currently wearing my freshly cleaned shirt. One wash and the shirt, size large, now fits perfectly.
My grudge with this shirt is the actual screen printing. They do not use inks that hold up in the wash. The texture in the screen printing is gone and the green is flaking already. You can tell that a few more washes and this off white shirt with green ink will become an undershirt due to color fade.
Ban T-Shirts may have nice designs, but they should find a new screen printer.
**POSITIVE NOTE** There model for this shirt is definitely cuter than I am
