Respect Your Mother

This is the last review for the All Female Week. What do you think?

There is only one Mother Earth and Local Celebrity wants us to respect it. I love my mother, the Earth and cute hoodies, so what could go wrong with this combination? This soft, organic cotton with water-based inks is a keeper. It’s really comfortable, runs true to size and does not shrink (I tried). The mellow green color is nice and the black ink has a distressed, vintage look to it, which stands out on the green cotton. The Earth is not too big on the chest and the back logo is nicely sized as well.

Local Celebrity produces attention grabbing clothing that are bound to have people asking about them and the Respect Your Mother line fits that commonality that they are going for.

Celebrities and hipsters love their clothing and I think this hoodie is just too cute. You can buy Local Celebrity clothing online and select retailers.

My mom really likes it too and so should you.

    Pentel Recycology

Being a teacher and a student I am always willing to try any new school supplies. I have been using both the Pentel retractable Gel pens and highlighters. Both items come in a variety of colors. I find both useful and handy, especially since they retract. I don’t have to worry about them leaking ink or drying up.

They are made of recycled plastic materials and less of it than the standard pens. Many of the products actually are refillable, such as the highlighters and markers.

Mike really likes the liquid gel ink and he’ll be reviewing that soon, but in the meantime, check out Pentel’s new line called Recycology.

    Ethletic Sneakers for Women

The Ethletic Sneakers are made from fair trade and sustainable materials such as sustainable harvested rubber. They are converse-looking low tops that are cute enough for me to try. I wore them for an entire day of shopping. After a few hours I felt the lack of arch getting to me. I toughed it out and did not resort to changing into my spare pair. I have since only worn these for an hour or two. I think that these flat shoes would be much more comfortable with arch insoles and will definitely give them another chance. They are cute, and green—who could ask for much more?

    Green World Bags

This is my first post and part two of the all female week, leave some feedback!

The past few weeks I have kept various reusable bags in the trunk of my car for my frequent grocery store and Target trips. However, I never remembered to bring any of them inside with me, until these three were added to my collection. Not only do they fold up easily, the designs are appealing. The Green World Bags have definitely decreased my garbage bag collection—but I am not complaining about increased closet space.

The bags are sustainable and re-useable. They are designed to withstand the weight of 2-3 plastic bags and then fold up for easy storage. The designs are silk-screened nicely and they are pretty too. There is a bonus feature as well, the extra bottom piece that adds to the base of the bag for double support. I see one issue with the bag, however. The silk-screen, after a few heavy uses, is starting to peel off and become flakey.

Green World Bags is a California based company with a simple, yet true slogan. A Simple Way to Make a Difference. Visit them today and get a four pack or twelve.

It’s all Good by Noah’s Naturals

This is the first review of the all female week. Enjoy!

One of my favorite memories is of my honeymoon in the Bahamas almost 3 years ago. I love any scents that remind me of that week, and that is what the products from Organics by Noah’s Naturals do. In addition, they promise to only use “nutritionally fortified formulas,” and “natural, precious ingredients.”

The Coconut Vanilla Body Wash is fun and summery. The two scents mingle well together and are not at all overpowering. The body wash lathers up with lots of bubbles and makes for a happy shower.

The Peppermint Lip Balm is also great. I have been a Cherry Chapstick gal for years, but I think I may be making a switch to this! It did not dry out my lips as other products have, and the peppermint is not intense or burning.

But overall, my favorite from Noah’s Naturals is the Rosemary Mint Shampoo. I have really curly hair, and I am always in search of a shampoo that will not weigh my hair down or make it frizzy. I have probably tried everything in the drugstore, but I never tried organic. I am hooked! In just a week, I have been getting more compliments on my hair than I have before. Just a small amount does the job, and the rosemary and mint scents wake me up in the morning. I am a huge fan of this product and would love to try the conditioner.

All in all, Noah’s Naturals puts out great products.
