Rock ‘n Renew & Piebald

This weekend update is a little different than the past few. I wanted to say hello to anyone who is checking out Leafygreen.info for the first time. You may have met me over at the Piebald show in NYC last night and if so, hello!

Piebald has been around for 12+ years playing inspirational indie rock that makes you want to sing your heart out, but they are also environmentally aware and have been at the forefront of being green in the indie scene with projects like Grease Not Gas, for instance.

Rock ‘n Renew is a nonprofit trying to spread the green message in the local music scene as well. They do a great job of promoting the green around locally and nationally at shows. Support them and buy some stuff.

So, say hello next time you see them and plant a tree to offset some carbon.
