There are several really cool things about this bag:
It’s unique. All you have to do is take one look at this bag to know you won’t see anything like it in most chain stores. If you want a fun, interesting bag, then you can’t go wrong with the Bazura.
It’s eco-friendly. The Bazura bag is made from recycled juice containers. Every day children in the Philippines collect over 50,000 of these containers off the street, and sell them to the local co-op. Thanks to these bags, there’s a lot less litter over there.
It’s handmade. These eco-friendly bags are sewn together by women at the Philippines co-op. They’re Fair Trade as well, so buying one means that you’re not only giving life to something that was going to get thrown away but you’re also helping support women workers in an impoverished country. Everyone benefits here.
I’ve been using the Bazura bag to haul around my laptop for the past month, and I have to say I’m impressed. It comfortably holds my 13-inch Mac, with plenty of room left over for my power cord, books, pens, etc. And I’ve gotten more compliments on this sweet little bag than any of the other Plain-Jane computer bags I’ve used, so it’s definitely a conversation starter.
It’s also sturdy; don’t let the fact that it’s made with juice containers make you think that it’s flimsy. The containers are well sewn together, and I haven’t had any problems yet with tearing or even fraying. This is definitely a bag I’ll be using for a while.
