Square One Organic Vodka

I love vodka as much, if not more, than the next guy. I felt, however, that I wouldn?t be able to provide an accurate, if not coherent review on my own, so I enlisted my buddies John, Chris and Chris to do a group taste test over a friendly Friday night card game of High Low Jack.
I brought the Square One Organic Vodka, and a leading brand of vodka (you absolutely know which one) to John?s house. We decided on three different drinks–vodka & tonic, vodka & blueberry martini mix, and vodka straight up. All drinks were made with the same measurements to provide accuracy. Here are our results:

Drink 1 ? Vodka & Blueberry Martini Mix
I thought the blueberry mix was awesome, and the Square One blended well with it. Not too strong, but strong enough to know that I should watch how much of it I drink. The other brand was strong in vodka taste, very ?burny?. John thought the Square One blended better, and was smoother and subtle. Subtle is the key, so Square One takes an early 1-0 lead.

Drink 2 ? Vodka & tonic
I like the other brand in this taste test. I liked the stronger taste in this drink for some reason. John was indifferent, Chris K said there was no doubt that the organic was better, while Chris S said if he had to choose, he?d choose whatever was cheaper. We?ll call this a push, and we?re tied up at 1 to 1.

Drink 3 ? Straight Up
Now was the time to test the mettle of the drinkers. We smelled the vodka, and the Square One had a pleasant, light aroma, while the leading brand was harsh. I tried both, and immediately notified my insurance company that they should activate my life insurance policy. Vodka straight is not a good thing, but Square One made me feel less close to death. The others were in the same ballpark when it came to opinions, so Square One Organic Vodka was declared the winner 2-1.

If you see Square One in the store, buy it. It?s a little more money, but you?ll enjoy the smooth taste.
