In Rutherford, NJ, there is this really small Greek restaurant called Greek Town. It is on Park Avenue, along with almost everything in Rutherford. They offer the typical quick Greek foods such as falafel, hummus, gyros, and grape leaves.

The falafel is outstanding. It is full of romaine lettuce, fresh, thinly sliced tomatoes, chunks of cucumber, and sweet onions. The three falafels are soft and spiced just right. It’s all held together with a creamy dill sauce wrapped in a grilled pita.

Totally worth trying if you want a quick and inexpensive, semi-healthy lunch. It’s not organic, nor vegan, but it is vegetarian and all natural.

They don’t have a website, but here is a map.

Glad you got a chance to make it over there. Their falafels are AMAZING. I usually substitute the regular sauce for hummus to make it vegan. Really great place, and super nice owners.

They will also make you a falafel salad, if you ask. It’s delicious. I usually get it with falafel, hummus, olives, grape leaves, lettuce, tomato, and onions.
