Okabashi – Surf Men’s Flip Flop
Okabashi is a small family owned company that’s been in the shoe business for over 25 years.
They claim to be good for you as they are the only shoe endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association. Okabashi also says they are good for the country because they are made in America since 1984.
Their shoes are also 100% recyclable and they offer up a couple of ways to close the loop and recycle them either by sending back to their factory or by checking out 1800recycling.com.
The pair of Okabashi’s that I tried out were the Men’s Surf.
Their sizes run a tad bit small, so if you are going to order, I’d recommend ordering up a half-size or so. Also after wearing them for 4 consecutive days, they began to wear the skin on the top of my foot a bit raw, but I shouldn’t be wearing flip-flops so much.
They were definitely comfortable and had great arch support, especially for a flip flop.

Dear Okashabi, I bought a pair of the Eurosports about a year ago. I had a pair of another style by Okabashi’s that I had for 15 years. Recently, I got the Eurosports out to wear. They have such a high arch in them they are uncomfortable. I was looking at you web site and it looks that some of your other styles are more like the original ones I had and loved for 15 years. I spent 20 dollars at cvs for the Eurosports i can not wear. Can I return these or maybe get a discount on another pair with a lower arch? I don’t have the receipt for cvs and I doubt they would return them at this time a year later. I really like the durability of Okabashis and you all make them here. I’d appreciate hearing from you.
