I want to redesign my bathroom? First step, what type of flooring should I use? Bamboo, reused wood, recycled porcelain, concrete, rubber, cork? Is it better to fix the tub’s minor cracking or just replace it? What do you suggest for lighting? There are no windows in the bathroom, so solar solutions are out. What brand paint is your favorite?

well if you live in a house you absolutely have to do the self composting toilet!
bamboo floors rule cuz they are mad durable and super restorable for long life…let me know if you need help doing stuff…
u should use LED lights (the fake bulb ones) in there for low energy usage…
replace the tub, you could get a nice PC recycled plastic one and a shower head that lowers your water usage…
if you build it, you will be clean and green…
recycled glass tile floor and/or walls, countertop, BEAUTIFUL!
If you have just roof above your bathroom get a solartube for sunlight.
You may want to think about salvaging what fixtures you can. If your current bathtub is functional than there is no need to send it to a landfill and buy another one, creating a bigger energy hole and adding to a landfill. There is a facebook group that discusses green products for renovations too, Greener Everyday.
