Kool Freeze Kulfi Ice Cream Bar Review

Thick ice cream on a stick, I thought when I first looked into Kool Freeze’s Kulfi Ice Cream. However, the difference between regular ice cream and kulfi is not just the thickness; the difference is in the way the dessert is actually made.

Kulfi is made without eggs. Traditionally, it is just boiled milk. This delight is found in South Asian countries, especially India. Kulfi is thick because it does not have contain any air, just solid dense frozen milk. In fact, kulfi is not ice cream, but a cousin of ice cream.

Kool Freeze Kulfi markets their products as “Exotic Eastern Ice Cream.” and it does taste like ice cream, but very thick. The pistachio contains bits of pistachios that you can see and taste in every bite of the kulfi. It has a mildly, nutty flavor and has a light crunch. The kulfi is a great refreshing way to end a hot day. It’s also the 2006 Food Product of the year.

I’d suggest trying Kool Freeze’s Kulfi. The best part is that kulfi comes in a wide variety of exotic flavors.
