I used Dave’s Roasted Garlic & Sweet Basil Sauce in layered eggplant parm dish with spaghetti squash (as the pasta) and it was decent.
The roasted garlic is not too noticeable and the basil is there, but also very subtle. The sauce is fine, not my favorite of Dave’s line, but good enough to use again. In order to make the dish, I sautéed the squash with garlic and spices and added zucchini on top of that and then breaded eggplant on the top of that. I placed sauce and a few sprinkles of asiago cheese on the bottom of the dish and in between each layer of vegetable.
