Tofurky products are a tradition for vegetarians and vegans. Tofurky tries to make products that taste similar to turkey and other “meats” and sometimes they succeed with the flavors and seasoning. It’s a difficult task to accomplish and it’s not always a winner. Personally, I’m moving further away from meat substitutes because I do not like the taste of meat. I did enjoy the Tofurky “philly style” deli slices, however. It does not taste like meat. Instead, I thought the deli slices tasted like tofu with onions, garlic, and lemon. It works well on a sandwich with soy cheddar cheese and onions and peppers. Add some hot sauce and you’re golden.
