Flying Dog Update

I read on thebrewsite.com that Flying Dog Brewery was going to have an “open source beer”, so needless to say, I am curious. I checked out opensourcebeerproject.com and it’s very true. Flying Dog is in fact, not only a green brewery, but totally down with technology and the web2.0 craze. If you don’t know what open source refers to, it’s OK. I’ll explain it. It’s basically where multiple people work collaboratively on a project together. Usually it has to do with software. The biggest project I can think of is Firefox, but there are plenty of others. Just by reading my site, Leafygreen.info, you are using an open source app called WordPress. So, the Open Source Beer Project is going to be awesome. Go check it out.

Here’s why…
flyingdogales.com has flash, java, etc
flyingdognews.com is a blog for Flying Dog news
flyingdogblog.com is a blog for Flying Dog blog posts.

They also use some fancy looking wordpress themes on their blogs. Normally I wouldn’t post this type of stuff on Leafygreen.info, but I have reviewed Flying Dog beer in the past and I have to say their beer is great, but now… It’s tastes even better since they are so web2.0.

And to keep this post semi-green, “The [Flying Dog] Denver brewery utilizes cutting-edge technologies to aid in water conservation and to ensure the same great drinking experience time after time.”
