Crayons Drink Review

I grew up as an artistic minded kind, so you probably couldn?t go in my room from the ages of 2 to 13 without being able to find a box of Crayons. So when given the opportunity to review a drink called Crayons, I jumped at the notion.
When checking in on the company I was excited to find that it?s a company founded by 3 fathers! I myself will be a father in six short months and definitely care about what will be going into my kid, and that is the approach Crayons? Fruit Juice Drinks have taken when it comes to their products. They found a way to create an all natural fruit drink that is nutritional and also great tasting. With SugarGuard? we know the drink isn?t going to have us running to the ceiling on a sugar high, this label lets us know we?re getting something more natural not pumped with sweeteners.
Now on to the drinks. I had two flavors to sample, Tickled Pink Lemonade and Outrageous Orange Mango. Formerly of the south, I know lemonade, so I tried the Tickled Pink Lemonade first. I wondered how could lemonade in a can with limited sweeteners be good. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. It tasted like a good quality lemonade, and it was very refreshing after doing work around the house all day. The only thing I was sad about was the size of the can. At 8 fluid ounces, it?s a bit small for my taste. Though for a kid, it?s perfectly sized. Next I tried the Outrageous Orange Mango, very delicious as well. Tastes of orange with hints of mango in the background. I could easily imagine this being a big hit in the summer, easily replacing a Capri Sun right after a Little League Baseball game when I was young. Two thumbs up from this guy. Get some of these if you can.

This drink definitely has some good points–high in fiber, low in sugar, not too bad in terms of calories. I think the 8 oz is kind of a good thing, though—its technically a correct serving size. Also, would love some more details on this SugarGuard stuff–what is it exactly? Hopefully we’ll all get to sample this stuff soon.

Well I could write all day about SugarGuard. Its basically a label showing that the beverage uses a specific balance of natural sugars that help aid the body with its use of sugar through absorbtion and correct sugar levels. There site is full of case studies and documentation that details the process to the "T".
True 8 oz is a correct serving size, but I've always wondered why is that the correct size for people of all sizes. But how could 8oz be right for someone who's 100lbs and then also for me who is 185lbs.
Thats why I think this will be perfect for kids, they have little bellies…and its pretty much the market they are shooting for so their on the right track.

I stopped at Dierberg's yesterday. When I saw the crayons logo on the small can of juice drink, I had to investigate. I read the nutritional facts and decided to buy two. The price of $1.69 was a little high for just 8 oz. I bought the wild watermelon & berries and lemonade. I loved the taste of the wild watermelon & berries. Since I'm diabetic I have to be careful drinking beverages that have high fructose corn syrup. So, I been sampling teas and drinks that don't have the corn syrup included. Boy, that's really hard. My daughter drank the lemonade and she said, Mom this is great! When did they start making this? We both liked the crayon. The price was a little to much? Thank you for developing a product with natural ingredients.
