I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive about tasting coconut water. However, after my first sip, and the many sips to follow, I was pleasantly surprised. This refreshing, vitalizing, all natural energy water hits the spot all while boosting my immune system. Previously, I’ve reviewed other coconut water both plain, just pure coconut water, and another variation of Zico’s flavored coconut water. I find the Zico brand to be slightly blander than One Natural Experience (ONE) brand coconut water. I’m not sure if it is the coconuts themselves or the amount of water extracted from the young coconut added to the mixture. It just seems rather bland.
I typically don’t like coconuts, but definitely recommend trying this flavored water. It’s rich in vitamins and minerals and goes down really smoothly.

You probably found Zico "bland" as compared to other coconut waters on the market because Zico contains no added sugar. I wouldn't drink any other brand.
Zico coconut water is not a mixture, not from concentrate and has no added preservatives or sugar; it is pure coconut water. Those who know coconut water consistently tell me it is the best they have tried and tastes the same as that they have had out of a coconut with a straw.
Additionally, Zico has all-natural flavored varieties such as Mango and Passion Fruit. The flavoring is from essences from flowers, so there is no added sugar, unlike other flavored coconut waters that add fructose.
Zico is the brand you can trust.

I usually drink Zico and just finished a One. One tasted the same until I reached the bottom: I smelled the container and it smelled really bad [like feet] and the last sips tasted bad too! Not sure what that’s about?! anyway tell the folks at Zico that it’s way overpriced. I need this for health reasons and I need to drink 2 a day and you should get volume discount for buying several cases, it should be 40 cents a box. I mean who can spend 2 bucks per box and drink several a day!? Gas is expensive enough. Second mortgage to drink zico???
Yes, gas is expensive. Where do you think the coconuts come from, next door? Maybe Florida or Hawaii, but most likely Indonesia or the Philippines.
Vita Coco definitely tastes better and has six flavors to choose from. My favorites vary with my mood but I usually go with pineapple if I had a choice. I don't like Zico or O.N.E at all.

I’m a fan of Vita Coco much more than Zico or O.N.E. I have tried them all and the others sort of taste like socks and baby food. Not good!
I agree Vita Coco is the best coconut water product out there. It's all natural and has so many nutrients in it. It tastes so good you would never know it was good for you too!
