I have had plenty of low sugar beverages that appealed to me, a drink def doesn’t need to have sugar to taste good. Though unless I am in the mood sparkling water, I would probably not choose a Simple Kitchen drink.

It’s a matter of taste as Mike says. Unfortunately, we do not fit into the market audience Simple Kitchen’s attempting to please.

Actually, CC, we do not get a check from Izze, nor do I have an Izze shirt. Everyone’s taste buds are different. If you go back into the archives, you’ll find some other products that we did not care for.

I think you two have been taste-testing too many highly sugered drinks!! The fresh and crisp taste of the the bev is what makes it so perfect. I love it with lunch sandwiches and snacks. The ‘lemon and mint’ bev doesn’t leave you with a sugar aftertaste either. C’mon boys where’s your lighter side-maybe you need a break to re-discover what a good bev really is!!

i have to agree somewhat. the puzzling taste is due to an oversaturation of honey flavor, which is what i feel i was tasting more than lime or mint as the name would imply. also, for a sparkling beverage, i was expecting a bit more carbonation.

i will say this, i can see this being a good mixer for coctails. something about the flavors reminded me of drinks i’ve tasted before.

I too tried the Lemon-Mint beverage, and while Mike said it was not great, I would go as far as saying it was not good at all. It tasted like a curious mix between a Luden’s Lemon cough drop and air freshener. Sure, it may be low in calories and be organically produced, but those things become moot when a product is as unappetizing as this one.
