As someone who only uses soy milk on cereal, I found this brand of hemp milk for $1 a carton and had to give it a try. "Bliss" is not the correct word for it, in my opinion.

It was barely tolerable on Cheerios, and produced such a gag reflex on Corn Flakes that I could only eat half a bowl. It has a grassy aftertaste (what did I expect?) and a hint of that silage smell you pick up while traveling in farm country.

If you drink it straight from a glass and slam it down fast enough, you can avoid "savoring" the full flavor, and just deal with it briefly at the end. But the taste comes up again in your throat for another 5-10 minutes (without chasing it with something, that is). After that there's still a slight oily feeling in the gut. I'd definitely eat something absorbent soon after.

Unless they find a way to neutralize the aftertaste, I have no plans to use it on cereal again. It tastes a lot like you'd expect "weed" seeds to taste, so at least it's an honest product.
