What?

I've used equal exchange for years now. The Mind, Body and Soul mix is one of my favorite coffees. Very smooth with well balanced acidity. This is one of the few coffees i would drink black. This coffee generally retails for 9.99- 10.99 per pound which is in the standard range of type of product. You can also buy in bulk via their website at even better savings. The article above also does not mention that equal exchange coffees and products are 100% fair trade. They were one of the pioneers in this important effort for fair prices for farmer growers.
They also use worker grower programs, co-ops and other efforts to bring positive change to farmer grower communities. Please checkout their website and try their products at the many cafes and restaurants that serve them.

I'm not sure about someone who can't pour water into a french press and brew a cup of coffee, i think the review was more of an endorsement for K-crap I meant cup [of nonsense]. 'Perfect cup' are you joking me? A perfect cup is one that tastes good to you!

Scott,
Thank you for the kind words.

Re: K-cups and the Keurig machines

The K-cups are manufactured by Green Mt. Coffee Roasters (who own the Keurig Co.) & who deserve credit for some admirable efforts to minimize the eco-impact of their manufacturing (their website & annual report detail these efforts) BUT environmentally the K-cups themselves are not green at all, even if its a K-cup of organic coffee.

The K-cups, and Nespresso pods, etc, appear to me as the bottled water of the coffee industry. The packaging waste generated with each serving is just hard to justify.
