Flying Dog’s Horn Dog 2007!!

Flying Dog Horndog

What the blank, this is blanking weird. That was my instant reaction. I’m literally drinking this Barley Wine right now. It has been aged in whiskey barrels for 13 months and you can taste the sweet, sweet whiskey. The bold, in your face dark Horn Dog is packed with flavor and back hand that is sure to make you feel alright! It’s smooth with a light bubbly feel to it. The aroma matched the taste. It’s very sweet and malty.

Barley wine, much like myself, gets better with age, but I could not resist trying one of the 725 12oz. bottles produced this year. This experimental beer is worth trying, but you have to get it directly from the brewery in Colorado. Just be patient though, Flying Dog is going to be relocating to Maryland in the near future.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the positive comments on the Barrel Aged Horn Dog! It is intense, in a good way of course. We (brewery employees) thank you for taking the time to review our beer! Cheers, Steph
