Epic may be a small company, but their products clean in a big way. The Oxy2 kit for the bath, kitchen and the toilet is a powder substance needs to be mixed with regular tap water. It contains phosphate, chlorine, and acid, is fragrance free and does not have added synthetic odors.

The scrub will scratch on soft surfaces, so be careful, but in toilets and tubs you are safe, just double-check to be sure. My toilet and tub were left clean and sparkly, and grime free. The cleaning agents in the powder pack are powerful.
The ingredients are available on Epic’s website and they are having a sale right now, so click on over to their site for more details. You can order online or just read more about this charitable and eco-friendly company.
They also have a janitorial line, if you desire, for your company.

How was your week? Our week was great, thanks for asking. Who’s heading to the Atlantic City Beer Fest today? Look for us, we’ll be there. Some of us will be rocking green Leafygreen.info shirts and a cowboy hat.
Global Green Expo 2008 and Go Green Expo are getting selling tickets for their 2008 Earth Day Weekend Expo in Jersey City, NJ and NYC.
You should check out those sites to see a list of vendors, speakers and a fun outdoor activity in late April. We’ll be there, maybe with the same hat. We’ll be among the celebrities such as Rachel Ray and Ted Danson.

Sweet Leaf Tea has a killer lineup of organic and all natural sweet teas. This is their version of a diet sweet tea. This tea is not all natural because it contains Splenda. The tea is not as sweet as the regular Sweet Leaf Original tea, but it’s all right in comparison. It has no calories and 5mg of sodium.
If you’re into diet teas that taste better than those other companies out there, try Sweet Leaf Tea. Their organics and all natural teas are wonderful as well.

Herbal Water… What’s that? It is simply flavored water. Ayala’s Herbal Water is flavored naturally with flavors like lemongrass, vanilla, cinnamon and lavender. Odd flavors for a beverage, but there are health reasons for this. The herbs were previously used for medical purposes and continue to be used for the same reasons.

I drank a bottle of cloves, cardamom and cinnamon herbal water. At first, I was confused, but after the second sip, I was convinced. This water is no joke. It is like chai tea without the tea. The herbs do not pack too much punch, they are very well balanced and blend well together.
No calories, no sugar, no protein, just water and all natural flavors. I am interested in trying more.
At least Ayala is Carbon Neutral and uses eco-friendly companies for paper products.

So I have these High Tops that came, in a sense, from a great idea. Autonomie Project, Inc. is a parent company that works with small independent, employee owned and Fair Trade Certified manufacturing facilities in developing areas of the world. They are giving these companies the opportunity to tap an American commercial market they would not under normal circumstances be able to take advantage of. By reworking the global marketplace in this manner they are helping to balance the worlds economy.

Now for the product, I received a pair of the Ethletic High Top Sneakers. I chose to go with the all black, since I own a pair of sneakers in the same style in a different color. The shoes are great, they are totally comfortable, fashionable, and reasonably priced on their website. The shoes, certified by the FSC and the Fair Labeling Organization, are also 100% Vegan. Fair Trade Premium was paid for the rubber and the shoe stitching as well. I wore them to work 4 days in a row, never had a problem. My coworkers commented on how they liked them, one asking where he could purchase a pair.
Overall it’s a great product and a great company. Autonomie Project is said to be expanding its line of products as well so check them out. I found a great product I love, you might do the same.
Interested in purchasing a pair… how about a discount code … Leave us some feedback either here or leave us a comment.

I gave The Simple Kitchen another chance with their White Grape Organic Sparkling Beverage and here are the results. Ed did not like the Grapefruit, I almost couldn’t finish the Lemon and Mint, but the White Grape is different.

It actually had no taste to it. I did not taste grapes, lemon nor honey. The beverage has the same amount of calories (60) as the other beverages and is still 100% organic, but is flavorless as well. I’d be better off drinking water.
Sorry, organic doesn’t always mean great flavor.
The lemon and mint review is making the pot boil, read about it!

If you want the best stuffed grape leaves ever, go to The Hummus Place in New York City. They are filled to the brim with rice, veggies and spices and come sitting on a bed of creamy mint sauce. There’s more on the menu too, check it out, it is heavenly!

With three locations in Manhattan, you shouldn’t have an excuse not to visit!
We’re trying this new experiment here at Leafygreen.info. Instead of posting a review on weekends, we are going to provide either older reviews, events, or other miscellaneous info from some of our partners or previously reviewed companies.
