As we speak i’m not only drinking Flying Dog Brewery’s Snake Dog IPA, but I’m really enjoying it. It’s hoppy but not overpowering like the 120 I drank from Dogfish Head last Saturday. The specialty hops come direct from the Pacific Northwest. It’s got a subtle hint of citrus and is very smooth and refreshing. It’s not such a strong IPA with only 5.8% ABV, but it sure is good.
Flying Dog Ales is a craft brewery from Colorado. Their designs and logos are awesome too. The best part is, that they “recycle our used grain by giving it to local farmers to use as cattle feed.”

Kombucha is a cultured chinese tea/yeast mixture which provides a unique variety of all natural acids and other healthy things for you. GT’s Kombucha drinks are unique. Instead of traditional tea, the Kombucha is mixed with a variety of flavors from Grape to Ginger. These drinks are not like anything you’ve tasted before. They are not fruity like traditional apple juice, but they are mixed delicately to create a nice blend of tea and juice. The natural fibers from the Kumbucha makes for some texture, but not in a bad way.
The first time I tried the drink, I knew it was working. It is supposed to provide energy while detoxing your body. The drink made my eyes completely dilated. I wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, so I ran with it. I finished my bottle and I was relaxed, but energized, felt clean and tranquil.
So, I decided to keep trying it, and I drank one bottle a day at work, and gave out 3 bottles to coworkers to see how they reacted to the tea.
Everyone’s reaction is a tad different from the other, yet oddly similar.
Bob did not like the taste at all and it just gave him a little energy. It made Chris all jumpy and sort of mellow at the same time. The tea just made Rich mellow and more talkative.
However, after drinking the tea for the entire week for lunch, I felt myself rejuvenated and refreshed. Syngery does not quench your thirst but it flushes all the crap out of your system. It cleans your body of toxins and promotes digestion in your body. The unique effects are sort of like being on a sedative for some people, including me.
I’d suggest trying out a few bottles. My favorite was the grape and the multi-green. Click here to find out where you can purchase. Go check out gtskombucha.com for more details. I learned more information also by reading the wikipedia article.
